Can you give a little info on that coil? I have a BHID and love the unit but hate the floating coil.

they are the east coast Whites service center the numbers on the Whites home page under service.... ask for 'Bob' Tell him George from MASS. told you about the 'SUPER 12 COIL' conversion..he's great!!

You can also send the detector in to Whites and ask for the weighted coil replacement.

HOW DO YOU LIKE IT ?? I think I'm gonna have to do the same thing with my BHID. Also hows is the overall weight ? I do a lot of md in the wet sand, just wondering if its gets a little heavy in the dry.....

I have gotten some really good depth...beaches here have been sanded too...today we got some good negatives going to give it a work out.. this coil has done well field hunting has got me some very deep wheaties and some silver. I will post todays results tonight.

Beach Hunter.....I did not see a East coast Service...I saw a South East service is that the one.And that is were i should send my Surf master II to get it checked out instead of the West coast...==Jim==

this coil is great I love it!! great depth,very stable!! I got the work done at the south east service center!! big nor'easter on the way should be good hunting!!

Todays hunt with super 12!!

lots of targets got a little silver ring, lots of wheat pennys but no silver coins. coil did well finding tiny items and got good depth.

Is the 12 super coil as stable as the stock coil on the BHID (in all metal mode)?

How much more depth are you getting?

I hunt in all metal 99%of the time..

the depth has improved exact inches I'm not sure but I know its better.
