Hope you have a speedy recover! Things are slow for now with the South winds .. but looks like they are letting up a little this week coming.

Here's hoping for a fast recovery. Hopefully, you can make it out here this Fall so you can hunt in a REAL ocean! :laughing7:

I have no problem telling my spots - most people know where i go
but if your not willing to hunt in all metal and go out as far as i do and in shark infested waters
knowing wont be any good

We were thinking of you today at musket ball beach. No gold for Jim or I but each got a dozen musket balls and Jim got a 3 ringer and I got a couple Silva dimes. Be well!

I've never had the pleasure to hunt the East coast up your way. How deep is the water out where you hunt? I was wondering if you're snorkeling the entire time or if you can touch the bottom? Sounds like pretty strenuous work, I know once it gets to about chest deep I have to work to dig deeper targets. I guess that's why a lot of people don't go out that far. Hope you get well soon.

some spots i find - at absolute low - you walk out and it gets over your head - wearing a mask i could see like an under water ravine where it could be 7 ft deep but then gets shallow again - you can swim over the deep spot and it gets like 5ft - but you can only spend a little time out there till it gets deep out there too at
some spots i can go out at low like 200 yrds - the life guard buoys are oout like 50 yrds so guys wont go any farther - thing is i remember going
to some of these beaches as a kid and it was like 50 yard walk from parking lot to the water - its now like 25 yrds - so we were swimming way out there
30 - 40 yrs ago - 100 yrs ago it was like 100 yrd walk to the water - so they swam way way out where i go now
