Looking to invest into this scoop. How does the Titanium compare to the Stealth Hybrid 921x SS with a carbon handle in your opinion

Vs.

Thank you in advance to your wisdom.

Way too much $$$. I would never pay that much for a scoop. Titanium is just as strong as a steel scoop. It may be much lighter but that to me wouldn’t out weigh the cost to own one. If weight were the only factor of owning a durable scoop, I would opt for an aluminum with stainless steel tip from Riley’s b4 I’d pay that much.

Nice scoop. I paid almost that much for my stealth 920 with a carbon fiber handle. I love my stealth.

Looks like it will move some sand or gravel.
Does the back of it have a ledge or bracket to push with your foot?

Try REILY'S new Blade - i'd get travel model - with SS tip
Buy Online Aluminum Sand Scoops, Beach Scoops, Aluminum Water Scoops

Thank you so much Casper. Do you have this scoop. I love aluminum but was concerned about the wear and tear on the tip. I see that the model you suggest has a stainless steel tip. Just cusious how the 7.5” pairs up the 9” in moving sand .
Thank you for taking the time to respond. I am super happy to see that the man with a PhD in sand scoops took the time to reply to my thread

I absolutely love the price if it’s a durable scoop. If it has to be replaced every year it might not be a good invest emend vs something with a lifetime or 10 year warranty.

I can see that in the SS models, I think that the titanium is stronger and the welds you point out may be stronger but I don’t know I just presume...after all tanks are built out of titanium.

I have a friend in Florida that bought one and says he does not like the foot "plate" angle. He told me he'd never buy another one!

on the other hand, I have both the Stealth 720 & 920. each has had some bending & cracking issues. Lifetime warrenty but I have been having problems reaching SunSpot since they moved to the West Coast.

They will take great care of you , I read in another thread somebody who was super happy with a warranty they had.

Take note that the lifetime warranty ends with the repair or replacement once you use it the new or repaired scoop has zero warranty.

Cheers

I've had the Stealth 920iX for about 6 years now. Never a problem at all. For a handle, I chose a wooden post hole digger handle - under $20 and still as good as new after much abuse. AND!!! It floats upright in the water for you to just reach out and grab it :)
