Hi,

I've finally moved from the gulf coast to the east coast, and am in the Saint Augustine area.

Been here for almost a year now but haven't been able to detect because I broke my foot and had to get screws and a plate installed. I am finally reaching the point where I can start detecting again.

I know I can hunt Saint Augustine beach and crescent beach, but what are the rules regarding water hunting or hunting at night?

I've seen the treasure coast map of wreck sites and leased areas, but it doesn't go up this far north.

Are the beaches of historical parks clearly marked near the water?

Also, has anyone had any negative confrontations with anyone on the beach at night, whether it be law enforcement or just college kids?

Unlikely but better to ask than be caught off guard as I am new to the area.

I did water hunt at night on the gulf coast occasionally, but I will NOT be doing that here, and will also not be water hunting alone.

Thanks
