Backup detector (Tesoro Sand Shark) gets it done!!

This one is for you Terry Soloman! I am still waiting to get my Equinox 800 back from repairs, its been over a month at this point. I have a Tesoro Sand Shark which I picked up a few years ago. I was going to use it as a backup after my Equinox 800 drowned, but I discovered that the headphone cable had split and had exposed wires where it enters the control box. The repairs to my Sand Shark were finished yesterday, so I took good old "Princess Penny" to the beach this morning. It looks like the old girl still has some life left in her, it was an AMAZING day! I found ring #2 for the year - my wife said that it looked like Sauron must have dropped his ring in the water on his way to Mordor. HUGE 11.7 gram 14K beauty. While I love my Equinox, the Sand Shark performed perfectly in the water - where PI machines shine. Also found a nice pair of Quay sun glasses (retail $65), $1.01 in clad, Lush Ice vape, 1 large bling hoop ear ring, lucky 13 bottle caps, and the usual aluminum shenanigans.
