Sorry to hear you're going under the knife again. I was hoping you'd be able come out and detect this year. Recover soon! :icon_thumright:

Sorry to hear you won’t be able to detect for awhile. You’ll have time to think of new spots or re-think some old ones and make a metal detecting itinerary for next yr while your recovering.

This year has been really tuff on me and family as well. I for one will be glad when its in the rear view. Its still hit and miss on my hunting. Best of luck and fast recovery.

the human body is amazing. I've had numerous work related surgeries all due to my profession (tree climber). Most involving shoulder injury. While it is impossible to do anything reaching overhead for more than a few minutes, I'm able to swing the detector for a while when it becomes uncomfortable I pause and enjoy the scenery for a few minutes then continue. Like me and many others, you'll be back to doing what you love to do in no time. Until then, enjoy the meds.
