I pay attention to the trash I dig. If that trash is lite and floaty, like pull-tabs, sunglasses, bottle caps, etc., then I'm not impressed and I'll likely move to another area. Bit if I'm digging heavy fishing weights, heavy nuts and bolts, etc., especially if these items have signs of being in the water for a long time, then I'm impressed and patiently waiting on that next gold ring. :thumbsup:

Agree! Unless it’s fresh drop season!

The problem with summer is that on the east coast beaches that I hunted this summer season always brought in feet of new fluffy sand onto the beach. So much so that even recent drops sank out of reach in very short order.
