I did my first trip (10 miles) to the newly dredged and filled area from Sebastian Park south to the cabin. Lots of new sand and they appear to be done. Ambersand is still closed but the equipment and the dredge are gone. Dozer and loader tracks are still fresh all along here and haven't been rained on yet. I found several pieces of iron hardware and some of the usual aluminum junk. This area is dead until we have some real weather to get the sea to cough up some goodies except for the real long shot of the dredge having pumped something up there.

When I was down last summer they were still building at the Chuck's steak house site. Did anyone find anything there when they had the sand moved?

Beachbox,

Thanks for the update. What about other beaches in the Sebastian area? Is Wabasso showing any erosion?
