How are you and the Infinium doing? I have a DFX which is way too good for my level of detecting, but I'm considering an Infinium or Explorer to go along with it. How are you finding the controls on the Infinium? How deep is it looking? Are you happy so far?
Would really like some input from someone starting out with this machine.

I am looking to get into shallow fresh water hunting next spring if finances allow. I have been doing some window shopping and the Infinium has caught my eye since I am primarily a Garrett user. I will be very interested in how your new machine does. A suggestion: A lot of us would benifit if you would kinda' keep a running journal of your activities when you get your machine and get a chance to do some detecting. JIM

Actually what separates the Infinium apart from all other PIs(with the exception of the new GS5) is it's ability to ID metals(rudimentary at best). I have read the Infinium discrimination article below as I am receiving a GS5 shortly and will see if the Infinium tricks will work on my GS5.

Have fun with your detector and keep us posted on your results.
