pacific beaches in Mexico

Just got back from a cruise down the west coast of Mexico. Hunted lovers beach at Cabo san Lucas, it,s a small strip of sand between the bay and the ocean at the southern end of Baha. Huge waves on the ocean side, rip currents on the bay side, you can only get there by water taxi and you have to jump off the boat into the surf. Found one 10 Peso coin ( $1.00 ) and a 50 cent. This was a nice beach.
Next hunt was Mazatlan, Stone Island. Don't go here ! The " sand " was black rock, dirt, and garbage. This place was filthy and the vendors drove us nuts. Did find another 10 Pesos in the mud.
Did not have time to hunt Puerto Vallarta but hope to go back in October. Beaches are narrow due to storm erosion, but lots of hotels and tourists.
High point of this trip was seeing a pod of killer whales swim past the boat.
There are nothing like the beaches back here in good old Florida. Cocoa here I come !
