NJ on that scoop. I had a bud who attached a flimsy kitchen flower sifter to a broomstick and it would get bent up like no tomorrow. he would just straighten it and be on his way. He also found lots of gold wich in the end is what mattered. Hats off to ya.

It wouldn't hold up to the abuse a TH'er puts it through. Check my posting on galvanized scoop.

No. As I stated before it is EXTREMELY STRONG. That is not the problem. I am using it in the surf and even though I scoop up a full bucket of sand, I am not getting the target. It seems to be pushing it away. I dont know. I think the shape of the bucket is wrong.

Dang BCH I am crying from this post laughing LOL
The problem isnt the strength, maybe the target is running away and doesn't want to be seen in that scooop.

BCH, as much trouble as it is hunting in the surf, you want to be able to recover the target quickly and move on so you can find more targets and before you drown.

I bought the original BeachBrute used for $125 and sold it for a $100 after using it for over a year, total cost for over a years use.......$25.

I bought the BeachBrute II this past summer, used the $100 I got for the BeachBrute and added $89 more, if I ever need to sell it I know I can get at least $125 for it used, if I sold it, and I can't sell it as long as I beach hunt, the total cost for me will be approx $65...............You can't beat those prices for an extremely valuable piece of equipment for water hunting...............

    Good luck and good hunting..................
