IVE only had my excal 2 for about two mouths now and ill be the first one to say the threshold is wacked,But it is a bad a&& water detector i was in PENSACOLA pass week end and found the best find i have ever found in all my hunting ever ,ITS a 18K wedding band with ten yes ten princess diamonds !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Iwent to a jewelery shop and ask him how old did he think it was and the price new,HE told me it that some one order it and had it made from what he could tell it was made in the 60s or 70s 1/2 caret very good quality he then ask me if i would sell it for 400.00 Itold him that i dont sell the stuff i find not true i figure its worth more,BUT i think ill save this one,Ilove my excal 2,its a good water detector!!!!! Man this is what metal detecting is all about :hello2:

Nice ring, congrats!!!

The ring is probably worth a lot more than the $400. You might want to have it appraised and sell it on consignment. Myself I would say keep it.

Did you ever get those regulators?

Awesome find indeed!!! I found a small gold band with 8 diamond chips not too long ago. Took it to my jewler and he said it would retail for about $250.00 and would give me $25.00. So figure that he is only giving you 10% of the retail value the ring is probably around $4,000.00. When you decide to sell it post it on ebay.

Congrats! THANKS,when HE TOLD ME ILL GIVE YOU 400.00 A LIGHT WENT OFF IN MY HEAD AND SAID NO WAY ITS WORTH MORE!!!
