    Ive run across some interesting this that may involve Lafitte and the goverment. What I need help with is names of Lafitte's alias names. Are they known names today

    "William Whitehurst" is one name he claims he used most often when traveling. And there are a few other known and suspected names as well.

    Two surnames that I "know of" are BILLOT and BOUTTE; maybe FRANCOIS ZENON. Thomas J. Beale?
