Here's a question everyone should ask themselves when reviewing all of these proposed Beale theories, claims, and solutions;
"Why would anyone seeking the truth determine to ignore or deny contrary details and facts?"

This question should provide some accurate insight into the credibility within all of these proposed claims.
"The truth cannot be obtained when contrary detail and fact is ignored and/or denied, acts which allow only fantasy and fiction to remain."

I'm curious...with everything I've said to date concerning a beale solution/location...do you ( any of you ) think there is a grand announcement to be made soon? Just wondering...

No, just more endless fill in the blanks speculation that has been the modus operandi for the last 130 years with a book or two to promote these spun tales of solution.

No, I have no doubt that "big announcements" will continue to come, just as they always have. But this has always been just "perception" by those who make said announcements, never anything that can really be directly tied or connected to the Beale tale, just more baseless theory manifested around the individual perception and desire that it be factual and/or accurate and hopefully profitable solution. But they never are, and with sound and rational reason.

The point is, people allow themselves to become too absorbed in what "they think" might be a possible solution, yet during all of this they completely lose sight, or purposely deny that insight and evidence, that very easily explains why their proposals can't possibly be factual, or true. Most of this, however, is far too easy for all but the most naive of reviewers to spot pretty quickly, even quicker for those who do just a tiny bit of research and fact checking for themselves, which the internet has made all too easy in recent years. So not nearly as easy as it use to be to pull the wool over everybody's eyes anymore. I just don't understand why many of these claimants can't see this being reflected in the response to their own proposals and logic or why, if they are actually in pursuit of the truth, why they would continue to deny these contrary bits of information? Surely they have to know that they can't hide from them in this modern era. So why do they continue to do it? Is it just foolish pride, ego? :icon_scratch::dontknow:

We all got into this mystery because we hoped there was a chance that the tale held some measure of truth. So over the years we start the long and time consuming search for facts and answers, those facts never coming, the actual connections never truly being there, the research and facts we do discover along the way continuing to discredit the story and it's details at every turn, we learn that the unknown author presented many inaccuracies and deceptions in his tale, his proposed key not even working beyond his own suggested solution of C2, and even then this isn't accurate as it is portrayed. Finally, after all is said and done there is still absolutely zero that can be fact checked or confirmed, the details of his grand adventure not even having been possible. Why do you think this is? Some of this is so obvious to you that even you have confirmed the story to be just a work of fiction on multiple occasions, the evidences of such being too long to even bother to list. And you have to ask others what to do? Yes, it's hard to admit that we've been hoodwinked, however, hoodwinked all the same, some just can't let go even despite all of the contrary facts and other obvious issues. I guess it just depends on how long someone is willing to remain hoodwinked?

Why can one treasure tale, the Beale tale, have so many proposed solutions? The answer is simple, because there isn't a single bit of evidence in existence to contain the tale within a single train of common imagination. That's right, the complete lack of any facts at all simply allows that any and all trains of imagination can leave the station in any direction desired.

The simple truth, as is true with most treasure tales, this condition couldn't exist if there was but a single existing fact to place limit on all of these completely blind pursuits. But because there are no such limits, or existing facts, the door is wide open to wherever and however the imagination might lead. All one has to do is to pick a suspect and a desired adventure and then shove off in wild pursuit of that completely manufactured solution. This is why there can be so many proposed suspects and so many proposed solutions, because no limiting facts abound anywhere.

This is also why none of these proposed solves can be accurate. :icon_thumright:

The simple truth, Bigscoop, is it is hard to prove the Beale story true when all the hard evidence, the letters, the iron box, the ciphers, the original manuscript, and the "KEY" letter never received due to a murder most foul, KEEP DISAPPEARING after someone claims to have seen these items and bases a book on these items.
Been that way since 1885 with Ward.

Nothing in the entire story can be confirmed and most of what remains isn't even accurate or possible. But I think Terry might be on to something....:laughing7:

Remember that thread I started asking for any known directly connecting evidence? Still not a single post containing such. Wonder why...:notworthy:

Franklin claims he has made a discovery that will prove a part of the Beale saga true.

"The more things change the more they stay the same." New suspects, new sagas, same end results.
