You take if Beale trusted Robert Morriss as much as he said he did, Why did he not leave a letter in the ironbox telling where the treasure was located? The man said he was trustworthy yet Morriss did not do as Beale's purposed letters say, he did not open the ironbox after ten years? If you are entrusted to do something you do it, period. Yet Morriss claims or at least the author did that Morriss waited another 13 years before opening the ironbox. Kind of wreckless of Morriss on his solemn trustworthy word. Hell, no more explanations it is just a STORY.

The Beale Papers was never put into the newspaper. It was poorly written. Only excerpts of the pamphlet were written about in the newspaper. Most had very bad mistakes about the story. Ten years later they were still telling people that no one has found the gold.
