POSSIBLY "THE REAL BEAL"
Hi all ,
This may be of benefit to anyone studying the story of thomas Beale , there was documented Thomas Beale on the famous ship that sunk called the GROSVENOR which sank 4Th August 1782 ,carrying a hudge very impressive treasure including the famous Peacock Throne, the Ship did not sink straight away the story goes as was washed ashore on rocks .it is very strongly rumoured some of its cargo was removed and hidden by survivors ,
NOTE , one of the crew members was a Thomas Beale ,(3RD MATE)
could there be a link, as he may have been young while traveling on this ship ,(and in same time frame)
just a thought ,he may have been a survivor that was not accounted for in diary linked to below,
If so this could possibly be the real"Thomas Beale" ,and possibly had returned to and would explain his great wealth ,and possibly his returned again to the wreck on his dangerous journey possibly cost him his life ,

Hay Woody, I hope you still watch this thread. Look at your date. That was 40 years or so before Robert Morris ever met Beale. He said Beale looked to be in his late 30's. So you see, they would have to be different people.
