Whites M.X.T.,gold will sometimes come in as pull tabs or zinc pennies.I usually hunt in the relic mode but switched over to coin jewelry after my cousin started finding coins.I wasnt thinking gold (if you ever are)when Zinc Penny came up.I wont pass that up ever again!! Also my cousin cleaned his coins,I dont.

Re: GOLD AND SILVER!!!
Wow, any of these could be your "find of the year" so many at once, unbelievable.
Got to go with the gold, but I wouldn't throw any of the others back.
Congrats, Don

Re: GOLD AND SILVER!!!
A Huge Congratulations!! That 10 dollar gold is superb!! Also congrats on digging the other coins. You can bet someone searched a very long time to try and recover them when they were lost. I often think about that when I recover higher denomination old coins. That was alot of money back in the mid 1800's.
Cheers!

That is so awesome. Cool that you had someone else there to share in the excitement. Never seen such sweet dug halves and such a sweet dug gold coin. And what a great gold coin to get too! I bet you guys will be pounding the site some more. You never know where another one of those little pockets might be. Congrats big time!
