Congratz MR! This will always be a day to remember. I can't even imagine what I'd do if I found that much coinage. Can't wait to see the totals.

---you got 5 and 3/4 lbs of 1940 and earlier 90% silver coins ---after a bit of fast math -- and using $12.22 per troy oz as the spot price of silver -- you found $922.18 worth of silver at melt value alone --of course a lot of those coins are collectible type coins and could be worth much ,much more than the mere melt "value" depending upon their dates ,mint marks and overall condition. --please handle them carefully --as for cleaning --only wash them with water and gently pat dry with a paper towel --do not rub them with the dirt on them as it scratchs the surface .do not try to "shine" them up in any way. messes up the collector value .

Damn that sucks all silver and not even and single wheat penny. LOL I hope I'm the next one that stumbles on something like that. I would have a blast selling all that on E-bay.
