Man Alive, what a coin ! If you are going to find an Indian Head Cent, you might as well find one of the rarest ones in high grade!

Clearly a double die. This is the second one I have seen. The doubling on yours is much stronger than the last one I saw. Thta coin is worth some money.

Congratulations on the banner, awesome find! That photograph is as good as they come. Before your post, I had never even heard of the 1873 double liberty before. I would say it is on my find list, but come on, you can't even HOPE to find such a rare coin!
