King Henry the VIII (the fat one) Gold hammered coin

Ive been away for a few weeks and spent about 20 hrs detecting.
This was by far my nicest find.
Gold hammered coins are like rocking horse pooh! ;)
I found a lot more superb finds rather than post them why dont you visit: www.ukdetectornet.com
Look in pictures of your finds and you will begin to see just how lucky we are.
And before you ask its worth about ?500. ;D ;D ;D

Colin, that came out of the ground in such good condition, that's a great find. I have found about 10 hammered coins in the 10 months I've been detecting now, but so far no gold.

Colin, my advise is, never sell it, no matter how much they will offer you.
Its the nicest thing on earth, because you found it !
My one and only find is a sovereign George III - 1820 and I am more than happy with it !!!
An old guy once told me that the sweetest sound is the clicking of some sovereigns, close to your ear...
