Re: Had every intention to detect (MORE PICS)
These are Amelia pics. We think it is Mother Tusch in photo with her due to medal older lady is wearing.

These are a few of the handprints and signatures on Mother Tusch's wall. Note Admiral Nimitz has partial finger.

Re: Had every intention to detect (MORE PICS)
This is a pic of Mother Tusch with Harry Henders. He is one of the men that was shot down with Wallace over Marcus. He's the only other person that was able to paddle the raft. I just talked to Mr. Henders this last weekend. He already had a copy of this photo.

This is just a flyer and cool looking plane
*******
A) that is a PT-19, or Stearman. It was a the basic trainer, I had the AT-6 as my basic trainer in the USAF, a far more advanced aircraft.
I flew a more advanced version of the PT in crop dusting, it had a more poweful engine and a controlable prop.

Couldn't understand the significance of this airplane and why all these people would pose by it. Then I found the newspaper clipping in the next photo

Re: Had every intention to detect (MORE PICS)
Money really isn't involved here although I'm sure some would pay to get some of this stuff. I'm more into preserving what there is. My hands are the wrong place but I will find a caretaker. At present, my most inportant task is to find a home for his burial flag. It belongs somewhere where it can receive it's full honor and, right now, that's where it is until I find a more fitting place. I have 4 or 5 more clear-as-a-bell, 8 x 10 photos of other aircrews by their planes. Those pics have the tail numbers on them. I'm assuming they are B24D's and I'm trying to locate crew members or family.
