Re: Find Of A Lifetime!!!!!! 1792 Half Disme!

PCGS has it listed at $55,000 in F condition. I would say considering the rarity and story behind this coin...well, the possibilities are endless as far as value. What a truly amazing find and special piece of US history. Congratulations my friend!!!

Re: Find Of A Lifetime!!!!!! 1792 Half Disme!

Let me add my congratulations on probably one of the best finds ever. I'm having heart palpitations just learning that a fellow MD'er found something of this magnitude. Who knows what would happen if I found something like this (which will never happen....)

Just consider the history of that find. That is truly a fabulous find.
Makes you wonder how it got lost, and who might have lost it.
I'll bet there aren't many people who can say they have one of those in their type set collection.
It's gonna be hard getting excited about digging up a wheat penny for a while.
Very nice!

Submit your story to Western and Eastern. That find will make both the Best Finds Issue and the Silver and Gold Issue. Mine did, and i see no reason that yours will not. Tell us are you experiencing a little trouble sleeping? Congrats You now have the top find on the site.
