By all means this is beyond banner it should be featured in treasure hunting magazines. Great find congrats you deserve a new detector.

I think the Museum will be releasing a story to the press as soon as they know for sure what type of building I've discovered - It will need a bit more digging yet, I'm sure the 'Treasure Hunting' magazines will do a story too but not for a few months yet -

I did say not long ago about expanding your land influence & it still is only the tip of the iceburg for other good finds

Sadly there is very little interest in the UK academic circles for Roman Coins, so there is still a gap in our knowledge of these local imitations/semi official issues.

WOW my Man that is one heck of a find. That is what dreams are made of. Just wonder how many of us treasure seekers here in the US have found hoards of coinage and never report them. I know you guys across the pond have to report them but a find like that I would too....That is just awesome and many congrats to you for making Banner. It is well deserved. I know you all get to keep your finds after reporting them or however it goes but does that still apply after the museum people have been there. Do they keep what they found or is it still your site or claim? Just curious.
