I concur BCH, I don't understand. I don't have a slave, and I am pretty set that it's a sin to do so. Regardless, let me find that darn slave tag. I would do the chicken dance and then some. I don't think anyone condones slavery. What does that have to do with a historical artifact from 1815 associated slavery? Again BCH, like you I don't understand the post.
i have several books with everything you can imagine in them and as much as i hate to say this and dont get me wrong its a beautiful piece but its very possible it is a slave tag
Its also very possible that you didnt read the first post where we were told it is indeed a slave tag.
I am on this site every day and sometimes I wonder how I can miss a post like this. That slave tag is absolutely amazing!!!!!! Congratulations on a museum quality find!!!!!

Just read through this entire excellent thread, what an unbelievable find!! Was it ever authenticated? And how about one of the best finds? Definetly deserving.
My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
