words like awsom way to go what a find comes to mind but they dont cover it. I would like much more details please like research depth vaule of find etc etc one to tell the grand children

Sometimes you just get lucky. I was just driving around looking for old farmland. Found an old farm site with a house that was falling in. Roof caved in, barns with no roof, old and not lived in for a long time. Asked around until I found a person who could give me permission and went back to see what was there. I did the usual stuff - detect where the drive was, path to the outhouse, around the steps, etc. Went to the side steps and got a fairly decent signal and dug one shovel full. One coin in the hole, one coin in the dirt outside the hole. From the signal, I think they were on edge and if there hadn't been two of them, I would have missed it.

They are in very good shape and the value is about $3-400 each. Not bad for dumb luck.

Sometimes you just have to be in the right place at the right time.

Now the gold half sovereign from the UK is a whole different ballgame.

hitting gold both sides of the Atlantic way to go nice coin no wonder i never find any with all you Americans come here and finding em lol ;D

Go hunt the UK. We actually found more gold coins than pull tabs. Gotta love that.
