Bobbie found this major piece of bling at the first school we were at yesterday. 14k and 20" weighs 66 grams. We had left friday evening for our monthly road trip and had detected a couple of spots along the way without to much to show for, in fact I had found less than a dollar by the time we arrived at the hotel we were staying at for the weekend. What a diffrence a day makes. In addition to the big golden by bobbie that school produced nearly $9.00 in clad between us. We continued on hunting pretty much all day yesterday, including 3 new schools, that we had not detected before.
We drug back to the hotel and emptied our bulging pouches we both had found over 250 coins a piece. I found a womens 14k wedding ring, sterling silver pendent, and silver earring.
We started working our way back home today, detected 4 more spots on the way. The last spot produced the 1960 silver rosie, and Bobbie's silver lips pendant that has a small diamond in it.
We totaled close to $60.00 in clad between us also. But this weekend belonged to Bobbie and her whopping gold chain, and she says she has the sunburn to prove it ;D
congrats to all

WOW!! That's one of the most amazing finds Bobbie. COngratulations on that one for sure. It would be like a dream find for me. I found a 16 gram chain last summer and it made my month, but 66 grams.

You two are amazing and an inspiration for me at least. Thanks for posting all you awesome finds. Keep em coming, good luck!

Smiles!

That's a whole lot of bling. Congrats to both of you. That chain deserves a special place of honor - whatcha gonna do with it? Wear it, display it, sell it? Just curious, but you don't have to tell if you don't want to. Nice road trip - I'm a bit jealous, I admit.
