    As regards your hoard-
    At the end of the day you will be given a very small remuneration.

    Try and get your government to let you have your reward-200 (for example)of the coins -In Coins- certified- in your name as the finder.

    to put them on the open market as and When you want. Only 200 ever. It will cost them nothing- but be very beneficial to all concerned.

    Let the market decide. Authentic treasure carries a premium.

    It's a nice treasure and everything, but wait until you get a chance to metal detect in the US and get your first crack at a dirty wheat penny located eight inches down. It's exhilarating!
