    I just found my first and only Large Cent a few weeks ago .I was pretty excited about finding just one. Not sure I would get any sleep for a week if I hit the jack pot like this .

    Old thread but a great interesting thread since I've found lots of Canadian large cents here in southern Ontario but not a single American one, but have found 9 Indian heads dating between 1897-1907 here in Canada.
    Out of the 42 large cents I've found since the mid 90's, 12 of which were 1917. the rest ranging from 1859-1920. The most I've found in a single hunt was 3 at an 1890's home I got permission to detect. I love large cents!!!!!!
