Nope, It doesn't make the list!
THE SHARK PIT MUSEUM IS NOW OPEN!!
Some of you have asked me how I display all my finds from the Shark Pit & when the Museum was going to open. Well I found an old display case that needed some work but was the right size. I put all new glass shelves and a top on it & also new brackets and paint job! I have been slowly going over my finds from the Pit & putting this display together. I am pleased to say,
THE SHARK PIT MUSEUM IS NOW OPEN!
I thought you might want to see some pictures of it. Thanks for looking!

Wow, very nice. I always enjoyed your posts on the 'shark pit' & knew
you had plenty of finds there, but all that is amazing. Plenty of work on
your part & it shows. Great job & thanks for showing us.
Also like the pictures & info on pieces as a reference.

Thanks for the Banner vote Bud! It would be an honor!
Here are some more pictures & close ups!
And pictures of 2 items that are not in this case but should be included in this collection. One is of the 1963 class ring that I returned to the owner after being lost for 43 years! Maybe I should just put a picture of it in the case.
Here's a link to that story http://forum.treasurenet.com/index.p...c,57059.0.html
And the other is an old anchor I pulled up out there. It won't fit in the case but I have to figure out a way to display it with this case!

oh I agree BANNER material for sure.. Your display is so very professional and your ads showing some items are a terrific idea.. well well done, Maybe one day you will have your own museum.. I dearly love em all and especially the huge shark teeth ( spell check, but are a few of them megladons?)
Looking foward to your new posts..

Very nice collection from the pit. That place just keeps giving. I remember the cash register grill well.
We'd you get the display case?

Re: THE SHARK PIT MUSEUM IS NOW OPEN!!
WOW!!!! I am, as always, awed by the finds and to see them all together is mind boggling! I am going to figure out where that place is yet....lol! I was up in MD last month and believe me, you were not far from my mind, but I still could not figure out where it was. Once you clean the place out, will you let on where it is?? would love to know, it's killing me...... well, maybe its the jealousy that's killing me. At any rate, great job!!!
