    The Sturgeon Bottle

I found this small bottle and this other bottle the shows a man who has a sturgeon fish slung over his shoulder. Does anyone know anything about this bottle or has anyone ever seen one? Thanks

I'm pretty sure it was probably a cod liver oil bottle. It looks very similar to the old Scott's Emulsion bottles (which I believe were cod liver oil). Here's a pic of an old Scott's bottle. There were lots of variations of this bottle, but they were all close. Although common, it's a neat pictorial bottle.

Yep. Cod Liver Oil. Man I still want to puke whenever I remember being forced to take doses of that crap when I was a kid. Yeeeeuck!!!!! And the emulsion stuff was just as bad; with its pieces of twigs floating around in it. :P
