Bottle dump and MD'ng in the woods - My first hunt for the season!!!

Today was my very first hunt for 2009 and my very first target was a 1917 Merc!!!!! I used my Ace 250 today as my Minelab is getting sent in for repairs. We started the day at the bottle dump picking over the millions of bottles just laying on the surface and under the snow, here is what I kept.

Nice finds. I've caught your videos on utube and there fun to watch seeing you guys getting better at treasure hunting. I can see your on the right track to finding older stuff. There is a chance that some bottles and relics from the 1800's might be in that dump. Your finding bottles from 20's 30's 40's time frame on the top so the older stuff might be deeper. You'll have to dig some test hole to see if the bottles get older the deeper you go. One other thing to think about, you could be at the back end of the dump with the old bottles being where you think they might of started it. I would check out some old maps to see if shows the road going into it. Good luck hunting.

WTG on the bottles TF.....i wish i could find a dump around here....i know there here but i am new to the area and don't know too many people yet.
