Found off a farmers field in strip of woods, covered with leaves and twigs, half buried, but not in a dump area.

Soda bottle from Wold's Beverage/ Lemont, Illinois/ 7 1/2 oz. From around 1950.

Did some work trying to track this bottle down tonight.

Did find one on e-bay

They are asking a ten spot for it; it is in way better condition than mine, mine is all beat up.

The interesting thing is, there is a 3digit phone # on the bottle; this would move it from my original
estimate of 1950 (7 digit phone # in use) back to 1920-1930 time frame or earlier.

Still searching to pin down a date.

I, too, am a Wold. My name is Donna, father's name Donald, grandfather's name Raymond. I have been searching for a Wold's pop bottle for quite some time. We lived in Lemont right next to the bottling plant. My aunt, uncle and cousins lived upstairs from us. We were all Wolds, but I never knew if we all were related or not. If you know of someone who has one of these bottles for sale, please contact me. Thanks!
