I was metal detecting until I found this dump in an old mining town. Now I don't know much about bottles, but I'm pretty sure the dump is over 100 years old. These are the first three I cleaned off, a Dr. Kilmers Swamproot ,Hires rootbeer concentrate, and a Dr. S Pitchers Zastoria. I've got about 10 more interesting ones that I brought back, and I left about 400.

Great bottles They are worth prolly around 1.50 to 2.00 at a flea market. but if they are rare which some are they could be worth more, they are really nice! I would go back and get the rest for sure? Is there really 400? if so thats at least 400 bucks or a nice bottle collection
I liked the Hires rootbeer bottle, it says makes 5 gal of rootbeer. Heres some of the others not cleaned yet.
I picked thru a pile and just got ones that were different.
So yet another chapter in my treasure hunting education! I've been doing my research on bottles this weekend, and I 've learned sooo much, BIM blown in mold ,Pontil,3 mold lines 1820-1870,no seam, and ABM automatic bottling Machine 1905-1920 and present.
I'm gonna put each one of the bottles I brought back on ebay starting $.99 ea and go get some more with names on them, also cobalt blues ect.
I wont look at old bottles the same ever again. Thanks for all the help!

I also found a poster for the dr. kilmers swamproot bottle, should make a nice shadow box piece
