I think this is an unusual bottle. It is 8" high x 1 3/4" wide. The base is unmarked. There appears to be a seam that runs up both sides from the bottom to about an inch below the lip of the bottle. There is a 3 1/2" flat spot on one side of the bottle, maybe for a label? Anyone have any ideas what it is?

It's a peppersauce bottle. Look for the recent thread here entitled "Who collects peppersauce bottles?"
“A man should keep his little brain attic stocked with all the furniture that he is likely to use, and the rest he can put away in the lumber room of his library, where he can get it if he wants it.”
