Someone was having a rough day

My mother is redecorating a room in her house, and asked me if I had any aqua colored slicks she could use as window bottles. While I was gathering some up, I came across this bottle that I just can't seem to throw out.

I can't throw it out because it is the most awful piece of workmanship I have ever dug. Crooked lip, bad neck, lopsided glass thickness, a real disaster. I think the crew may have been emptying as many bottles as they were blowing on this day.

Anyone else have any bottles laying around that are bad news like this one? Post a pic.

That is perhaps the crudest mold-blown bottle I've seen. How did that one get past quality-control! That little bottle has lots of character.

While most of my black glass bottles are fairly well-made, occasionally a "slumper" comes along. Here are a couple of 'em that stand out on my shelf for their lack of symmetry.

I would lean one of those against the side of my display case anytime...

Even your imperfect stuff is a pleasure to look at, thanks for posting them!

Wow Ripley, that is one ugly looking bottle. Pretty unique. Must be worth something.

Well Mr. Ripley, I have to say I find your bottle a bit unnerving. It reminds me of those ugliest dog contests, makes me a tad nautious, causes me to cringe repeatedly with crinkled brows and just generally uncomfortable. But yet, I wouldn't throw it away in a million years.

Thanks for posting (I think )
