    Perfume bottle ??

I found this little bottle about 7" down while Md'ing. It was in some other trash a nd might be a trash pit for the 1920's house I was at. If anyone has a clue what it might be please let me know. It is 2 1/2" tall. The picture of the bottom did not turn out very well. It has a number 5 on the bottom beneath some kind of symbol that appears to have XXX stacked on top of each other and enclosed in a box. Thanks for your help.

    Re: Perfume bottle ??

I would guess hot sauce. But this is just a guess.
I live in a state of rules where I am not permitted to live on my own country land because my home is not 130 MPH rated! I can only visit it from time to time and pay the fines.  I feel so safe with Big Government protecting me. In some states its illegal to collect rainwater.

Maybe a small Gravy Master or food coloring. I don't think it's a perfume, by the shape.
Also, the bottom markings usually identify the glass factory, not the contents.
