The high-point wear on the bottom of this one indicates it was on a shelf for many, many years. Looks like a really good one. The rough lip treatment is significant. This looks too good to be true though..........

I'm not expert,but it looks to be a shear lip 1700's bottle... let's see what someone with more experince has to say be4 you get overjoyed....

creeper, I will not be overjoyed by anything negative. I think the piece looks good. It has good wear on the base. I said it looks too good to be true meaning not very old. Many pieces like this were blown in the early 20th, pontil, sheared lip, outrageous color, the whole kit and kaboodle. Precious few if any were blown even in the 18th century, or even 19th cent. Especially in that stupendous color. The color is key here. If it's an early 1800/late 1700, its a knock-out punch in the bottle world. It needs to be seen by Hecklers, they are experts. If it's anywhere from say 1790 to 1865, expect $2000 to $4000 if attic quality. Best regards to all....
