I think i found a candle holder cut lead crystal ?

Where i live there is many very old homes that go back to the early 1700,s even a few mid 1600,s ,1 house is in total disrepair and due for demolition soon, i asked if could MD there the Town said yes i was elated after about a hour i looked under the front porch that was ready to fall in i noticed that a hole was dug already i think by a animal i saw the top of a bottle in the sand pile and pulled out this beautiful cut lead glass candle holder it was pretty dirty it took a week of soaking in soapy water to get off all the crud ,if i tap on the base it sounds like a glass bell a beautiful sound i have no idea how old it is or who could of made it ? it has no marking on it ,its 7.5 inches tall and very heavy and thick ,i have been using it to balance coins on the rim and take HD photos of them If any knows about it i would appreciate it Thanks Dd60
