    Beach glass

Next time you're walking along the beach and find beach glass (looks like pretty smoth, flat, transparent rocks made of broken glass polished by the sand and waves over several years), hang onto it. Some people make jewelry out of it. Example: Hudson Oddities (www.hudsonoddities.com/contact.htm) Folks like this can't be spending all their time combing the beach in search of beach glass AND be making jewelry AND be minding their shop, so they must be willing to buy the stuff. I figure if one can find a buyer, it should be an environmentally safe and site-safe way to make a few bucks without looting.
One ship sails east, the other sails west by the self-same wind that blows. It's the rig of the sails and not the gails that determines which way she goes.

    Re: Beach glass

I have collected beach glass for years...absolutely love it. Have dishes full of the stuff....my favorite is red..which is hard to find!
I go a great distance, while some are considering whether they will start today or tomorrow
