Green Depression glass..

Have any of you folks found broken pieces of green,pink or tan Depression glass while looking thru old bottle dumps? The green and yellow/lime Depression glass has a 3% uranium oxide content and will flouresce brilliantly under UV light. The glass can make for a good night-time display. I once laid a 4' UV light on my front porch and covered it with buckets of the glass for Haloween. Looked like a nuclear meltdown at night.

Something I did in my partying days was to break it up into pieces and fill Jack Daniels bottles with the glass and put it on my tv in my living room where the black lights were at. It was pretty cool back then.
