    CREAM TOP

    Dug today.

    Side says "Spragues"/"LOCKPORT-ILLINOIS-JOLIET"
    "SEALED II/ONE PINT LIQUID"

Bottom has ""CREAM TOP PAT MAR.3-25"

    7 inches tall.

Milk bottle where the cream would be on the top.
Not real old, has a seam that stops prior to the lip.

No info on web yet, but do know that the name is
the name of one of the early families in the Lockport/
    Joliet area.

    all have a good un.

    Re: CREAM TOP

Hi Shermanville, an unusually shaped milk bottle. Haven't seen one like it before. I like the seal too.

    Re: CREAM TOP

    Angela,

yes, a bit unusual. I like it, and it is in real good
    shape. A keeper.

Still no info on the web. Found mention of Spragues
in Vermont, Michigan, and N.Y. Nothing yet on Lockport
    or Joliet, Illinois.

    have a good un........

    ADDED
Found a quart, not pint, selling for $75.
Not sure of the dates, period, have to do
    more checking.
