Yours appears to be one made and advertised by the Kickapoo Indian Medicine Company (headquartered in New Haven, Connecticut). The bottle iwas mold-blown with a crude hand tooled top and stood about 6 1/4" tall. The kickapoo Indian Medicine Company was the leader of patent (quack) medicines in its day. Their advertising techniques were second to none!

The Kickapoo Indian Medicine Company published a variety of booklets and other advertisements to promote their products independently of the medicine show; not surprisingly, such publications usually had something to do with American Indian life or lore. Founded in the East by two veteran troupers, John E. "Doe" Healy and Charles H. "Texas Charley" Bigelow, the Kickapoo Company for many years maintained in New Haven, Conn. a large headquarters building called "The Principal Wigwam," from which it sent shows, sometimes 20 at a time, throughout the country. The headquarters, both factory and living quarters for employees, was located at 521 to 525 Grand Avenue in New Haven.

Few of the old patent medicine lines were as well known as the Kickapoo Indian Remedies, mostly because none were so well promoted. Doc Healy was in charge of hiring Indians and white performers - jugglers, acrobats, dancers, musicians, comedians - and Texas Charley managed the medicine business and the "Doctors" or "Professors" who gave "Medical Lectures."

The Indian medicine shows just fueled the fever. The quack medicne business had evolved into jumping on the band wagon. Put a Doctor name in front of the word Indian medicine or cure, and you were in business. Even better was to picture a stereotypical portrait of the American Indian.
