Cool post, I have seen bits and pieces diggin dumps and always wondered what the heck these are. Never found a whole one. I have a question, what makes this a good color? Are these rare in clear? For some reason I want to say I have seen these in green.

years and years of sun exposure turned this glass that color...there is an element in it that wont be in newer glass that enables the glass to do this...there are collectors that only collect this uv glass....it kinda gives it provanance..

The magnesium in older glass when exposed to continued sunlight will give some nice coloring. Nice find by the way.
