Re: Can anyone tell me anything about this bottle?
That's an Owens-Illinois Glass mark on the bottom. They started using it in 1929 or 30. I'd say your bottle dates from the 30's. Foley's are pretty common even ones that are 50 years older. He had different medicines such as Honey & Tar and Kidney, Liver and Bladder cure. Yours would have has a paper label.
Re: Can anyone tell me anything about this bottle?
This Foley's is 40 or so years earlier than yours.

Thanks Creeper, there is no doubt it's a dump site. We plan on rooting around some more.

Take creeper71's offer, I would take it, it is a very difficult task diggin the old dump, finding the right tools and such, just getting started, learning all the "pit"-falls and tricks of the trade. First of all, a good quality spade shovel is needed, and if the dump is in a tree area, you will need a good set of pruning loppers. Dig carefully!
