    Hi everyone, I'm looking for some info on some RR Insulators that I have.

    This was found along a railroad track in SE Virginia, Does anyone know the age and possibly the value of it? I have 2 of these. Thanks for any information. Bob

    Not very old at all 1947-48 is age.. Value I wouldn't think too much

    CD 1049 and are a dime a dozen...

    Those are very common pieces and no one really buys them. Basically the only way you'd sell them is if someone was to lazy to go get their own from all the abandoned lines out there. Your best bet is to try and sell the bracket to a collector if money is what you are hoping to gain.

    If not...they are still cool pieces to display on an outdoor yard line or something of the like.
