Dug the second privy next door.

The privy was right beside the pontil pit I dug last week. Lots of water and tree roots. I think this was an old hole that had been scooped out. There was no use layer in the bottom. it was pretty much ashes from top to bottom. When I finished the hole I found the S.S. Smith & Sons drug bottle on a ledge that I was sitting and stepping on all day. This was the best bottle in the hole and it wasn't even in the hole. Everything else goes to the homeowner. I hope the next one is a little older. Thanks for looking! DD

Hey digger great stuff, The druggist as you say is the keeper of the day. A late throw as it were. Looks like some ketchup bottle to the right. Some crown toppers and some cork whiskeys or gins. You are hooked big time! jgas
