For what it's worth.......the Colorado Business Directory of 1895 lists George A. Bruce the owner of a saloon at that address.
Don...
Thanks, I too looked at the Colorado Business Directories. W. E. Malone (saloon) shows up in 1887 at 1522 Larimer. In 1892 it shows as 1524 Larimer, and in 1894, Malone has moved to 1743 Curtis and 918 17th. George A. Bruce is listed at 1522 Larimer in 1894 as well as in 1895. Thanks for the info, as I'm new at this, but learning.
Good luck with your hunts.

Nice to know that another exists. I thought about cleaing it and drinking Whiskey out of it to celebrate. My bottle does have the ground top. I didn't know that was a type. Thanks. Do you still have your bottle?

More than one exists, I sold mine in 1994 for $600,wish I still had it. Did you find this at the "lake"?? I have included a pic of it in the Colorado beverage book. periodically we dig the lids. The blow pipe was broken away from the neck ,then the neck was ground,or fire polished to create a good seal for the lid. Very nice flask !!! Congrats again !!!! :headbang:
