Hi all, I'm posting for a friend, this bottle was found in a garage dating to the 40's. There were several green bottles, and a broken one had a more complete label that said pepsi. Can someone tell us something about these bottles? are they rare?
couldn't you just soak the bottles in warm water an carefully remove the labels an put the good labels on the good bottle?? I am saying this for you to keep.. If you would try to sell you should reveal that you switched labels from another bottle

creeper, I haven't seen the broken one, I don't know exactly how it broke, if the label tore too or not. the label, what's left of it, looks pretty fragile one the whole bottle, but I'll pass on your idea, thanks!
There is a set of "Buy It Now" Pepsi Cola paper labels available on eBay now for $6.50 + $.50 S&H = $7.00. Although it is not a practice that I neccessarily approve of, I'm sure its done from time to time to put an old label on an old bottle that is missing one. The seller of this particular set of labels claims they are original and from his grandfather's estate. But even if you didn't intend to resell your bottle, it might be nice to have a set of labels like this to make your "keeper" more complete. And if not now, labels like this show up on eBay on a fairly regular basis. Just a suggestion.
