Gas !!!! Your killin me here Congrats on another nice pit The ruby/cranberry glass looks like someone was practiceing their engraving skills, sweet piece !. Through the years I have dug a few Back bar bottles, some with one name some with two names, Hendryx could be the bar owners name ,or it could be the name of a product,i.e. whiskey, brandy'etc. The gold in the lettering is in fantastic shape. I dug one in Cripple Creek one time at the site of a saloon ,long gone, after researching the name, found it was from a saloon owner in Denver, he also owned a saloon in Cripple Creek, and the address matched the site we were diggin. Hopefully will help in your research. A very nice back bar bottle with white letters, sold a couple of months ago at an ABAuction for $275. Keep it up HD

Hey Pikes thanks for the info on the Hendryx, I will no doubt be doing some research on it in hopes of finding a person or locale that once had it. This city was loaded with saloons back in the 1800's to early 1900's. Thanks for the replies buddy and good luck on your next digs. jgas

I have a bunch of the ruby glasses. They were from Fairs/Parks.. Very collectible due to most of them being dated...
Here are a few of mine...

Nice glass Flipper, that is some cool stuff. Although the one I have is dated 1912 but the rest of the lettering looks like gibberish to me. Just a bunch of initials or whatever..Probably a clue to the lost treasure of Blackbeard or something jgas
