Mystery Coke Bottle - Pine City, MN

A friend of mine brought a bottle by this morning that I can't seem to find any info on. I don't have access to a camera this morning, so I'll post this and add a photo later.

The bottle is a 7 oz. clear straight sided with flutes and the embossing reads "Coca Cola Bottling Co. Pine City, MN". The only info I could find on the Pine City Bottling company is that it first began bottling in 1936.

Anyone know anything more? Thanks!

Yes, this Coca-Cola plant was built in 1936.
The bottling equiment was removed in 1986 and the building was used as a sales office and warehouse for Viking Coke until 2003. The building has been converted into the Pine City Bottle Cap Condos.

BTW, Coca-Cola was first bottled in Minnesota in 1905.

No one else? I was hoping somebody on here would've seen a bottle like this, or at least know of one. Is there a good website that may have some additional information? I've looked on some of the Coke collector sites, but nothing like this shows up.

Gary -

Thanks for the reference. That explains a lot about this bottle. I'll pass it on to the owner.
